Daniel G. Koller - President.  Mr. Koller is a western North Dakota native and a graduate of the University of North Dakota with a B.A. in Aviation Administration and Management.  Prior to the launch of Black Bear Resources, Mr. Koller was a Certified Financial Planner™ and Wealth Management Advisor for Northwestern Mutual, helping clients plan and implement quality financial strategies for nearly 15 years. Mr. Koller has now taken his financial and business experience to one of the most exciting oil and energy plays in North America, the Bakken and Three Forks shale plays of western North Dakota and eastern Montana.  With Mr. Koller’s leadership, Black Bear Resources has developed a sizable inventory of oil and gas leases and working interests on oil wells, and continues to capitalize on the significant investment opportunities inside the booming Williston Basin.

Aderhold -  Vice President of Business Development.  Mr. Aderhold is a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and the University of St. Thomas with a MBA specializing in Organizational Behavior and Management.  Prior to coming on board with Black Bear Resources and its affiliates in 2014, Mr. Aderhold was with Aegion Corporation, a small cap publicly traded company, specializing in infrastructure renewal in the energy, mining, water, wastewater and commercial/structural markets.  While at Aegion he served as Director of Business Development, managing total sales in excess of $200M in revenue.  He has extensive experience in contract negotiations, customer relations management (CRM) software development and implementation, corporate strategy, acquisition and merger review, data analysis and trending, and general sales management. Mr. Aderhold’s role with the Company is to expand potential leasing opportunities through intensive business development strategies and implement a CRM system that will improve data tracking, trending and analysis.  Mr. Aderhold also assists with Company strategy and growth initiatives.  


Jordan A. Dahl - Petroleum Engineer .  Mr Dahl is from Bismarck, North Dakota and a graduate of the University of North Dakota with a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering.  Prior to joining Black Bear Resources full time in May, 2016, Jordan interned for Oasis Petroleum (summer 2014) where he evaluated frac fluid rheology, and Black Bear Resources (summer 2015) where he aided the company in economic analysis and daily operations.  He has experience with the IHS suite of oil and gas software applications including Enerdeq, PowerTools, and Petra, along with PHDWin Integrated Economics and Decline Curve Analysis software.  Mr. Dahl's role with the company is to assist with reserves management, production forecasting, economic analysis,and oil and gas reasearch.  


Deborah M. Gerhardt - Data Analyst.  Ms. Gerhardt is the granddaughter of a North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame rancher, and a legacy mineral owner in Mountrail, McKenzie, and Dunn Counties in North Dakota.  She joined Black Bear Resources in October, 2014 as a Data Analyst.  Her work experience includes over fifteen years of database and computer applications development, including ten years in the petroleum industry.  Deb assists Black Bear Resources in the collection and management of leasing, drilling, and production information from the North Dakota oil patch.  She received her technical training at Bismarck State College in Bismarck, ND, and Dakota County Technical College in Rosemount, MN.
